Until the end of this October, the first stage of a 2TPH Aquatic Feed Pellet Project supplied by SIMEC will start production in Cikarang, West Java, Indonesia. The pellet line includes crushing, mixing, pelletizing and cooling sections which ensures 2 tons sinking pellets production per hour for now. And soon in the next stage, the extruding, coating, bagging sections will be set up to produce floating and suspended feed. This feed project is aimed to support consumption of our client’s owned fish ponds and to meet the increasing demands of high quality aquatic feed for Indonesian market.

Fish Farm

There is a 0.5 ton boiler to support the entire system to achieve ripeness of raw materials in pelletizing process and extruding process. The ripeness feed is much helpful to be absorbed efficiently by fish and shrimp and increase FCR(Feed Conversion Rate) of feed pellets.

Biomass Steam Boiler

The steam comes out from boiler and works in the conditioner of pellet mill and extruder. So a rational designed and well sealed conditioner is helpful to achieve better conditioning performance with minimum consumption.

Fish Feed Conditioner

The mixing accuracy of mixer impacts the quality of feed mill pellet and uniform of formula in production extremely. SIMEC ribbon mixer is able to ensure accuracy and achieve continues mixing at the same time. All the raw materials followed the formula will be contained into each feed pellet evenly.

Cooling of pellets is an indispensable process of pelletizing section. Temperature of pellets from pellet mill can be reduced from 70℃——90℃ to 3℃ to 5℃ higher than the room temperature by using the reverse-flow cooler to make pellets become firm soon. And a rotary sifter will separate particles, unformed materials and pellet products efficiently. There is no waste for the entire plant. The particles and unformed materials from sifter and the dust from dust filters will be collected and feed back to pellet mill again. So far, quality aquatic feed pellets are produced and ready for sale.
